In the paragraphs below, there are twenty hidden books of the Bible. See how many you can find. Just for fun, time yourself and see if you can beat the record of twenty minutes.
Some of the names are obvious, others well-hidden, while still others are very difficult to find.
Once a remark was made about hidden books of the Bible. It was a lulu, kept people looking so hard for facts; and for others it was quite a revelation. Some were in a jam, especially since the names were not capitalized. But the truth finally struck home to numbers of readers. To others it was a real job. We want it to be a most fascinating few moments for you. Yes, there will be some really easy ones to spot. Others may require judges to help them.
I will admit it usually takes a minister to find some of the hidden names. (And then there are loud lamentations when it is found.) But don’t fret. That minister is a real pro. Verbs, nouns and pronouns are his specialties. His name is Jonah Ho. Sea travel gave him plenty of time to think.
A little lady friend of mine says she brews a cup of tea, so she can concentrate better. One friend said, "It’s in the genes, isn’t it? It takes brains. Most people can’t do it." But that’s not true. Anyone can figure this out. See how well you can compete. Relax now. There are only twenty hidden books of the Bible in this story.
