we already know that before time began God hand picked you and i to be his adopted sons and daughters,so we already know were special. do you ever say to yourself or wonder why God didnt choose people who are better at things than us to be his children, like moses (and me sometimes too) wondered "why doesnt God just pick someone whos a better speaker,someone that could convey Gods message alot better".or maybe sometimes we wonder why God does pick the "physically perfect" people ,maybe the lost would listen quicker than to me,. why doest he pick someone that hasnt sinned so terribly and turned their back before. or someone who doesnt have so many problems and so many issues to work with or basically down to "why me"? first off let me remind you God doesnt like low selfesteem, he died for you, i think that proves how valuable you are. second lets go to the word for a bit. "but God chose the foolish to shame things of this world to shame the wise,God chose the weak of this world to shame the strong" 1 cor 1:27
"but he said to me ' my grace is sufficient for you,my power is made perfect in weakness' therefore i will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses,so that christs power may rest on me,that is why for christis sake i delight in weakness in insults,in hardshipsin persecutions in difficulties,for when i am weak, THEN i am strong" 2 corinthians 12:9-10
you see God knew what he was doing when he chose us he saw all our faults failueres iniquities and quirks,and he knew that was potential for the greatest power of all. we may look at our selves and see nothing but problems, lame,losers,wussies. But thats not how God wants us to see it,we should look at our weaknesses as tools for the kingdom of God, cause in every weakenss Gods power lies.just remeber to give your weaknesses to him and never for forget that we are weak but he is strong,and we are mighty in him.
of course were not perfect, if we were would we be seaking God?
