The Ultimate Truth written by: Brandon Baptists, Methodists, Pentecostal, Presbyterian, Catholic, where does it all end.
The Christian faith has been broken into so many different denominations and “sects”, that
it is hard to keep up with them all. And when we do converse, we cant praise God and
celebrate our savior because all we want to do is argue about doctrine and theology. I
wish we could stop arguing about our few differences and different beliefs, and start
celebrating what we do have in common: There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are
called in one hope of your calling; [5] One Lord, one faith, one baptism, [6] One God and
Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.--Ephesians 4:4-6. There is
but one God, who is the Lord. Why cant we focus on the ultimate truth of the Bible,
which I believe is this: Jesus loves us and he died that we might have salvation. He will
accept you just as you are if you come to him, repent of your sins, and ask him to come
into your heart and save you. I believe salvation is that simple. Romans 10:9--That if you
shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has
raised him from the dead, you will be saved. John 1:12-- to those who would receive
him(Jesus) and believe in his name, he give the right to become children of God. In
Revelation 3:20, Jesus said--I stand at the door and knock. Whoever hears my voice and
opens the door I will come in to him. Romans 3:23-- all have sinned and fall short of
God’s glory. There isn’t much that can be misunderstood in these verses. I want everyone
that reads this to know that they know that they know that they are saved and on their
way to heaven. Can you remember a time in your life when you invited Jesus to be your
Lord and Savior? Have you ever repented of your sins and asked Jesus to forgive you? If
not, you’re lost, and no matter how good a person you are, or how much scripture you
can quote, or how educated you are, or what church you belong to, if you died in the next
3 seconds you’d spend eternity in hell separated from God. It’s none of my business what
your relationship to God is, but it is yours. Do you have a relationship with God? Are you
absolutely positive that if you died in the next 3 seconds that you’ll go to heaven? I pray
God that you will be sure. If you’re not, I’d love to talk with you and tell you how you
can be saved. Please email me at roman_hunter@yahoo.com if you want to talk. The
ultimate truth: Jesus loves you and died to save you. No matter what you’ve done, no
matter what kinda lifestyle you’re living, Jesus will save you. He came to save sinners.
You just have to ask him. Have you done it yet? |
