Small things matter to Him

    I ran my own mowing business and was pretty sucessful at it too.
    In Florida it gets extremely hot in the summer.The afternoon storms are a regular visitor to the small Lake Okeechobee town of Buckhead Ridge.
    I was doing my usual rounds of neighborhood yards. Mowing, trimming, and blowing the clippings from the porches and driveways gave me plenty of work to do.
    I learned how to keep from getting sun burned by wearing clothes that protected me.I also found it necessary to have plenty of fresh cool water on hand.
    I had been pushing hard to get as many lawns cut this one particular day, because the rains had held me back in the days prior and I was behind schedule. The day had been incredable.There was a cool breeze blowing the sweat from me so that I hardly had to stop and wipe my head.It was one of those days when everything goes so perfect that you feel great to be alive.
    Not even the dirt and dust was bothering me this day.
    I had already finished mowing the last yard,and had started to weed eat along the fence.I was flying along thinking of a good meal and a relaxing evening with my wife,when the trouble began.
    The weed eater had run out of string so I had to stop to refill the spool.I shut off the engine and rested the head of the machine on the fence rail.Just like the hundreds of times before,I opened the spool head,only this time the spring went flying .
    You know how you get that sinking feeling when you realize what has just happened.You think to yourself,"Oh no",or some other words that are more expletive for the situation.
    I didn't feel that way though.I remembered how beautiful a day it had been,and somehow I just knew that no matter what happened,things would work out for the best.
    So I told the Lord thanks,cause He was the one who made the heavens and the earth.I thanked Him for giving me a heathly body to do work with.I thanked Him for making the green grass to grow, giving me a job to do.
    Then I had a talk with Him about my little problem.I told Him that I knew it was getting very late in the day.That I didn't have time to run into town t
