ANSWERS:

1. Samuel, when Saul called him up from the grave.
I Samuel 28:15 "And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed: for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do."
(Samuel was displeased to have been called back from the dead, and Saul was not happy with what Samuel had to say. He told him that he and his sons would be killed.)

2. Nicodemus to Jesus.
John 3:4 "Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born?" (That is when Jesus told him that he must be born of water and of the Spirit if he wanted to enter into the kingdom of God. Nicodemus accepted.)

3. Pontius Pilate, at Jesus' trial.
Matthew 27:24. "When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it."

4. Peter.
John 13:8. "Simon Peter said unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him "If I wash thee not, thou has no part with me.
